About Daniel

Dan is the inventor of Gibson Assembly® and a founding figure in synthetic biology. He co-led the creation of the first synthetic genome, the first synthetic life form, and later developed the BioXp™ DNA printer and digital-to-biological converter. As a board member and advisor at Racer, Dan brings cutting-edge insight into enzyme systems, cloning, and biomanufacturing.
